Days until Christmas: 117

Happy Sunday Friends.

Yesterday, I mentioned seeing picture frames on someone’s IG. It got me thinking about how we chronicle and showcase our memories. At this juncture, it would seem we are using digital means than physical. I mean, there are FB albums and IG feeds instead of photo albums. There are digital picture frames to replace physical ones.

Hmm, I pass no judgement on how people choose to save their memories but I must admit that I feel kind of bad that treasured moments no longer exist out in the open for people to see. I like see beautiful pictures framed and on display. I like seeing trophies and medals that hold so much pride of the recipients. I dunno, its just nice to see. I kinda hope people do it privately. I hope people still do scrapbooking and journaling when they go on trips. I hope parents keep baby books (I didnt even finish the one I have for my son). Similar to how some smells can transport you to long forgotten place, I believe physical mementos do the same.

Anyhoo, let me know what you think. Tell me about the ways you prefer to hold on to your memories.
