I’ve got my eye on a set of gardening tools.

I, like many others, have had to find something to do with myself while staying home and trying to stay covid-free. I have turned to gardening. I have always wanted a little garden. I have always wanted to grow things but my previous efforts werent successful. Anything I tried to grow died.

But I haven’t given up! I purchased a vegetable garden kit from a local hardware store. In the kit I got 3 packs of seeds, a 5lb bag of potting soil, a pair of gardening gloves and a seedling tray. With this, my home garden journey started. I used the pots I already had and got to work planting my seeds. I prayed over them. I spoke to them. I shuffled them around to ensure they got the right amount of sun. I adjusted how much I watered them. And finally I saw signs of life!! My plant babies are thriving.

But keeping them alive brings a whole new set of problems. I have had to transplant some into bigger pots or into the ground. I have had to remove weeds. I have had to think about pest control. So that’s got me thinking that I need to invest in some supplies.

I haven’t really been working with proper gardening tools. My hands have sufficed for far. But now I’m considering getting this set of tools.

I’m not quite sure what all the tools are for but I love that there is a spray bottle and plant labels. This set also looks like it would be a great gift for someone who is just starting their gardening journey.

If you are looking for a bare bones set then this might work. You get a trowel, transplanter and a cultivator.

This might be enough to get you started until you need additional tools or in case you need to replace worn items.

These arent practical for my space, but I love hanging planters. I’ve seen some that are absolutely gorgeous.

Since I have limited space, I have been considering a plant stand of sorts. I like this one but I also like those with ladder-shelves.

Now that I am getting into it and my plants are growing and doing well, I am excited about all the other accoutrements that I can find to make my garden special.
