Have you ever heard of a pot filler?

The internet is a fantastic resource. You can learn a lot scrolling through social media posts on platforms such as Tik Tok and Twitter and Instagram! Like today, I learned about something called a pot filler.

What is a pot filler you ask? Well, a pot filler is a contraption made of pipes that bring water near to your stove. It allows you to then fill your pots without running to the kitchen sink. Consider me, mind blown *boom*.

I am not sure if this a practical choice in the average home. It is certainly not a cheap choice with prices starting in the hundreds of dollars and going into the thousands. That’s a lot of money to spend on something that you may or may not use often. Additionally, my very brief research made me realise that if your pot filler ever got a leak, it may cause a lot of damage. Can you imagine if you were cooking and forgot to turn the thing off right away? In any case, I actually quite like the idea of a pot filler. I think for people who spend a lot of time in the kitchen, it could be a big help. And as for that leak issue, maybe it doesn’t need to be directly over the stove?

What I want to know is why is this wonderful secret being kept from the world? Why have I not seen it anywhere? Maybe I can chalk it up to lack of exposure to the world of faucets or not enough HGTV. So tell me, have you ever heard of a pot filler? Have you ever seen one in person? Do you have one at home???
